摘要：

Computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) is traditionally performed off-line in which the image data is acquired indirectly from an imaging modality. Picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) allows an on-line CAD process which can facilitate the usefulness of CAD in medical practice. This paper describes several methods of integrating CAD in PACS environment. An example of CAD in bone age assessment is used to illustrate the methodology.
