Synchronous collapses and revivals of atomic dipole fluctuations and photon fano factor beyond the standard quantum limit

Nonperturbative interaction of more than one atom with a coherent state of radiation field is shown to dynamically correlate atoms beyond the standard quantum limit (SQL) and simultaneously make photon statistics sub-Poissonian. On a longer time scale the Fano factor of photons and dipole fluctuations of atoms are found to synchronously undergo collapses and revivals around their respective SQLs. Such ultra-SQL correlation is possible only if atoms experience higher-order interaction with photons that possess dual wave-particle properties. Possible experimental schemes for observing predicted phenomena are discussed.
