摘要
The Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor was embedded within composite material structure to monitor its Structural health. In the experiment, the FBG sensors were embedded in Glass Fiber Reinforce Plastics (GFRP) laminated plane composite, and the interlaminar stress and strain was measured. The data measured by the test machine and FBG sensor were contrasted and analyzed. The experimental results show that the measurement error is less than 5% using FBG sensor and it is feasible to measure the interlaminar strain and stress of composite structure. These researches will extend composite shell of solid rocket motors reliability and safety in serving lifetime, enhance maintenance procedures to maximize serving time and improve reliability.
