Electromagnetically coupled multilayer hexagonal microstrip stacked antenna

摘要
Experimental investigations conducted on multilayer hexagonal microstrip antenna reveals that radiated power improves by 6.2 dB and the beamwidth improves to 20 degrees as compared to 30 degrees (E-plane) and 31 degrees (II-plane) over the active antenna. The stacking with single parasitic element further provides good match with feed line and lowest VSWR whereas resonance frequency decreases with parasitic elements.
