THE ESTIMATION MODEL OF TRAVEL TIME BETWEEN POINT OF INTEREST FOR TOURIST TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS WITH REGRESSION ANALYSIS

Travel time between tourist attractions is one of the variables that need to be considered in planning a tour. However, uncertainty about traffic conditions will affect travel time. Therefore, the uncertain travel time value makes it possible to categorize time in order to minimize uncertainty in estimating travel time which can be done by looking at the weekly pattern of weekdays and weekend holidays especially in tourist city like Bandung. The study focused on estimating the travel time between tourist attractions by considering the popularity of a tourist spot to be visited in weekend which indicated by rating parameters obtained from Google Maps. This parameter had not been considered in previous studies for estimating travel time. Therefore, the estimated travel time is done by doing mathematical modeling based on collected data and then looking at the suitability of existing data with the appropriate mathematical models by using Regression Model.
