摘要
This paper attempts to analyse the possibility of and requirements for the determination of charging demand for electric vehicles. Several demand modelling approaches have been discussed and assessed. Three distinct modelling frameworks have been developed from these approaches working under certain conditions. Although none of the frameworks seems to be universal enough on its own, a few propositions and adjustments have been employed to diminish the drawbacks. A model based on one of the presented frameworks has been developed in view of the need for a reliable and explanatory model of electric vehicle charging demand. Several economic principles were taken into account during the development of the model, namely the utility-based decision-making of the consumer and the repetitive nature of human behaviour which express itself as habits, i.e. travelling behaviour in terms of electric vehicle usage. These were incorporated into the proposed model to ensure that the model is explanatory and realistic. Examples of the use of the model have been suggested, as well as several topics for future research.
