Two Cadmium(II) Complexes of an Acylhydrazone Ligand Bearing Quinoline Unit: Syntheses, Structures and Fluorescent Properties

摘要
Two complexes [Cd (L) (H2O) (NO3)(2)] (1) and [Cd (L)I-2]center dot CH3OH (2) (L = 4-hydroxy-N-((quinolin-8-yl) methylene)benzohydrazide) have been synthesized and structurally determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The results show that the Cd(1) ion in 1 with a mono-capped trigonal prismatic geometry is surrounded by one acylhydrazone ligand with N2O donor set, one water molecule, one mono-dendate and one bidendate nitrate anions. However, the coordination geometry of the Cd(I) ion in 2 is a distorted tetragonal pyramid with oxygen and two nitrogen atoms provided by the ligand L and two iodide anions. The thermal stabilities and luminescent properties of both complexes are also investigated in detail. CCDC: 1034567, 1; 1405135, 2.
