摘要
The abundance of F-18 in Nova explosionsis an important issue in understanding this astrophysical phenomenon. For this reason it is necessary to study recesses that produce or destroy this isotope in novae. Among these latter processes, the F-18(p,alpha)O-15 stands as one of the main F-18 destruction channels. We report here on the status of a new experiment recently performed using the CRIB apparatus of the Center for Nuclear Study of the Tokyo University based at the RIKEN Wako branch.
