A programming interface for IEEE 1394 video device in robot vision

摘要
This paper presents a new progamming interface library for IEEE 1394 video devices on Linux. The multi-threaded library is able to capture images independently and simultaneously from multiple cameras by an isochronous transmission with a point-to-point connection. A combination of this library and inexpensive IEEE 1394 devices with simple configurations can bring a low cost real-time vision system.
