Calculation method of free enthalpy of liquid phase using data of phase diagram application to Pd-Ge and Pt-Ge

摘要：
A simple method for determination of the free enthalpy of liquid phase of binary system starting from the data of phase diagram was proposed. This method requires the knowledge of enthalpy of formation of liquid phase and intermediate compounds in equilibrium with the liquid. A very negative enthalpy of formation of intermediate compound permit us to neglect the entropic effect in the free enthalpy., The application of this method to the systems Pd-Ge and Pt-Ge allows us to correct the measured values of free enthalpy.
