摘要
The gluten-free diet is the only treatment of choice for patients with celiac disease. This precisely is why this food selection and the practice transfer make high demands on the implementation of this diet. It is important to avoid possible internal and gastroenterological sequelae, which are demonstrably to be expected due to the eating pattern. With regard to that, it is incomprehensible that many people with unclear gastrointestinal symptoms choose a gluten-free diet on their own or based on someone's recommendation, especially if they are not informed about risks and possible negative effects of the diet. The presentation of the target groups, the problems that are to be expected and above all the risks if the persons concerned carry out a gluten-free diet, enables preventive derivations and, if necessary, changes to the estimated unjustified diet recommendations.
