摘要：

Tuberculous aneurysms of aorta are rare. They expose to a very high risk of unpredictable rupture with serious hemodynamic consequences. We report a 82-year-old male who presented with an tuberculous aortic aneurysm in a prerupture state. He underwent a surgical treatment and antibiotic therapy. Postoperative course was uneventful. Epidemiology, pathogenesis, presentation, management and mortality of this affection were reviewed and discussed. With appropriate medical and surgical management, the prognosis of this infection is very good. (C) 2008 Elsevier Masson SAS.
