摘要
This paper presents an optimization of conformal antenna arrays - antennas which have the ability to mold to curved shaped surfaces. This surface has a spherical shape, and those elementary antennas could form two different arrays - two of several possible configurations has been chosen. Those known configurations of antenna arrays could be optimized in such a way to ensure better radiation pattern in comparison with the original element distribution. Radiation pattern was calculated using the method of moment and the spectral domain approach. Antenna arrays treated in such a way have the ability to produce the desired radiation pattern and they are capable of providing electronic scan coverage over the whole sphere and could also satisfy requirements for many applications.
