摘要：
The cutaneous mucinoses are a complex group of dermatologic disorders characterized by of variable amounts of fibroblast proliferation and mucin deposition in the dermis. Cutaneous mucinoses are divided into three classes: focal, follicular, and diffuse. This article reviews the following diffuse cutaneous mucinoses: scleredema, scleromyxedema, reticular erythematous mucinosis, and generalized myxedema of hypothyroidism, Clinical manifestations, histology, etiology, treatment, and prognosis are discussed.
