摘要：
Some important classes of compounds, particularly basic drugs, require HPLC analysis at high pH in the region where traditional silica-based materials are unstable. The column materials described in this article are silica based with a bidentate-C18 surface phase that protects the silica; they provide good, reproducible separations at high pH.
