Measurements of sensitivity of the single-mode photonic crystal holey fibre to temperature, elongation and hydrostatic pressure

摘要
Using a specially developed spectral interferometric method, we measured the sensitivity to temperature, elongation and hydrostatic pressure of silica holey fibre with hexagonal symmetry, operating in a single-mode regime. The susceptibility of the group refractive index to those parameters determined with our measurement method is respectively equal to dN/dT = +1.28 x 10(-5) K-1, dN/depsilon = -0.40 1/strain and dN/dp -1.0 X 10(-5) MPa-1.
