Moment Lyapunov exponents of two-dimensional viscoelastic systems under bounded noise excitations

The moment Lyapunov exponents of a two-dimensional viscoelastic system under the excitation of a bounded noise are studied in this paper. A realistic example is the transverse vibration of a viscoelastic column under the excitation of stochastic axial compressive load. The method of stochastic averaging is applied and the eigenvalue problem governing the pth moment Lyapunov exponent is established. The variation of the moment Lyapunov exponents for different parameters are discussed.
