Exploration and Practice of Bilingual Teaching of the Introduction to Tourism

Bilingual teaching plays an important role in cultivating talented personnel under the situation of the internationalization of higher education and economic globalization. Taking the subject 'the Introduction to Tourism' as an example, this paper expounds the necessity of bilingual teaching to this subject, and summarizes some practical experiences in selection of teaching material, teaching patterns, teaching methods and means and extracurricular counseling information; meanwhile, the author also analyzes the problems existing in the bilingual teaching and puts forwards some useful measures. This paper is very significant for teachers to achieve the bilingual teaching objects, which will help the students to master professional knowledge, but also improve English comprehensive application ability.
