摘要
The integration of renewable energies is set as a solution with a strong potential to face the problems of the fossil energies pollution, their availability, and the security of their supply. The decentralized energy production, including wind energy, has increased throughout the last decade, and the deregulation of the markets in electricity has led to the emergence of new scientific and technical obstacles. A strong contribution to this energy can lead to imbalances and makes the management of the power grid more difficult. The connection of these power plants to any electrical system has an impact on the electricity quality. These impacts are manifested by variations in voltage, overload in the network, flickers, harmonics, and voltage dips. Their impact on the quality of the electricity grid has been carried out, and solutions such as the "Smart Grid" was proposed to remedy the problem. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
