摘要
The authors compared a natural power of a distribution line with losses and a transmission capacity limited by economic current density or rated temperature-rise current density in phase conductors. It was demonstrated that the decrease of resistive impedance in distribution line conductors allows for the natural power increase by not more than 1.3 times, longitudinal capacitive compensation provides for the natural power increase by no more than 1.83 times while transversal capacitive compensation does not impose any technical limitations on the opportunity to increase a natural power up to any pre-set value. The research determined the degree of transversal capacitive compensation necessary to increase a distribution line natural power up to the level of transmission capacity limited by economic or rated temperature-rise current density in phase conductors.
