摘要
The aim of the work was to evaluate the characters according to the minimal set of descriptors, which will be developed. Genetic resources are evaluated by the classificators, numeric dials, for descriptive part. These numeric dials create the rules for the evaluation of the phenotypic traits. Four genetic resources of Milk thistle (Silybum marianum [L.] Gaertn.) were evaluated on one site in South Moravian region (Znojemsko) in chosen characters: 'Beograd', 'De Prahova', 'BG' and 'Silyb'. This work summarizes the methodology and compares the variability of the chosen characters. Additional aim was to obtain viable seeds for the experiments in next year.
