摘要
Our results on linewidths of quantum-cascade lasers are reviewed, clarifying physics underlying astonishingly narrow intrinsic linewidths similar to 100 Hz and showing possible narrowing of extrinsic linewidths down to similar to 30 kHz by suppression of electrical flicker-noise.
