摘要：

Preventing failure to rescue (FTR) in any patient involves the evaluation and improvement of processes for rapid recognition, diagnosis, intervention, and rescue. All of these components contribute to an enhanced rescue. This article reviews FTR and recommends some best practices and structures in delivering safe care to post-bariatric surgery patients who may be at risk of developing immediate post-op complications.
