New discrete controller for a class of chemical reactors

摘要
The temperature regulation problem of a class of continuous stirred tank reactors, where two consecutive exothermic reactions take place is addressed. Time delay control coupled with an exact sliding differentiator is used to design a discrete input-output linearizing controller. This time delay controller with sliding differentiation is robust in the presence of noise in the output measurements and time delays in the actuator response. Conditions for practical stability are given in terms of the system parameters Numerical simulations are used to show the dynamic performance of this controller.
