摘要：

The original sugar quote for the Slovak Republic amounted to 207432 t of sugar. For the year 2007/08 the quota available was only 145904 t and for the year 2008/09 this was further reduced to 112319.5 t. The actual total sugar production of 116103 t is at a 20 year minimum. 101846 t of sugar was produced out of 669601 t sugar beet produced in SR. There were 152 distinct sugar beet growers and the total sugar beet area has decreased from 18913 ha to 11030 ha. The average yield of 60.71 t/ha was a historical record for srov. Average sugar yield was 9.23 t/ha and sugar content was 17.51%.
