Synthesis, crystal structure, and fluorescence property of new rare-earth compounds constructed by aromatic carboxylic acid

摘要
Two rare-earth compounds [Ce(DNBA)(3)(DMSO)(2)](2) (1) and [La(DNBA)(3)(DMSO)(2)](2) (2) (where DNBA = 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid, DMSO D dimethyl sulfoxide) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. In compound 1, each Ce(III) atom is eight-coordinated by six oxygen atoms from six DNBA and two oxygen atoms from two DMSO. In compound 2, the La1(III) atom is nine-coordinated by seven oxygen atoms from six DNBA and two oxygen atoms from two DMSO, however, the La2(III) atom is eight-coordinated by six oxygen atoms from six DNBA and two oxygen atoms from two DMSO. Luminescence measurement shows that compound 1 emits fluorescence.
