摘要
Polymer electrolyte based on polyacrylonitrile (PAN), Ethylene Carbonate (EC) and Acetonitrile (ACM) mixed with Potassium Iodide and Iodine in liquid and thin film forms were employed in natural dye sensitized solar cells (NDSSCs). Three natural dyes; black berry, hibiscus and rose are used as the sensitizing dye. The NDSSCs used, follow the configuration: FTO/TiO2/Natural Dye/Electrolyte/ Carbon/FTO. The liquid form polymer electrolyte with black berry natural dye gives an increase of 111% in short circuit photocurrent density (J(sc)), 17.5% to open circuit voltage (V-oc), fill factor of 0.57 +/- 0.05 and three times increase in the conversion efficiency of 0.242 +/- 0.012% compared to the iodine electrolyte.
