摘要
The transient and steady state operations of a closed loop variable speed 6-pulse PWM inverter-fed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor [PMSM] drive system are simulated. Performance. of the system covering important operational aspects while using a Hysteresis Controller or a Modified Predictive Current Controller were evaluated over a wide range of speed. Comparison of the results provide insight into the controller action and reveal existence of useful trade-off's in the choice of the controller for a given PMSM drive application.
