摘要
In this paper, an effective method is proposed to solve the open-circuit faults for indirect matrix converter by adopting model predictive control. The proposed method can identify the open-circuit faults by checking the waveform of the rectifier stage output voltage and comparing the measured output current with output current reference in inverter stage. The influence of open circuit faults is eliminated by recalculating the mathematical model and the switching state table based on model predictive control. The results of simulation and experimental have evaluated the superior effect of the method.
