摘要
A new electrocatalyst for the electrocatalytic oxidation of glycine (Gly) is reported. A Glassy carbon electrode (GC) was modified with conductive film of polymeric [Ni-II(teta)](2+) (represented as GC/poly(Ni); teta = C-meso-5,5,7,12,12,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetra-azacyclotetradecane) and used for the electrocatalytic oxidation and sensitive determination of Gly. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance studies of the GC/poly(Ni) electrode show improved kinetics for the oxidation of Gly. The catalytic current at the GC/poly(Ni) electrode in presence of different concentrations of Gly is linear in the range 10.0 mu M to 5.0 mM with two different slopes. The catalytic oxidation rate constant and diffusion coefficient of Gly are determined using chronoamperometry and chronocoulometry.
