摘要
The thermal and optical properties of Bi2O3-GeO2-B2O3 glasses have been studied. The glass transition and deformation temperatures have a maximum at a Bi2O3 content of similar to 20 mol%. The molar refraction shout's additivity with composition, decreases linearly with decreasing Bi2O3 content and does not depend on the B2O3/GeO2 ratio. Colourless glasses were obtained in a low Bi2O3, high GeO2 region of composition, as expected from electronegativity. Raman scattering spectroscopy showed that the glass structure depends on the Bi2O3/B2O3 ratio and on GeO2 content. By a glass imprinting method, a one-dimensional periodic pattern with a period of 500 nm was successfully fabricated on the glass surface.
