Objective: This study aimed to explore the nursing care pattern and the omeprazole efficacy in treating gastric ulcer-caused bleeding. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 120 gastric ulcer patients with bleeding who were admitted to this hospital for treatment between April 2016 and January 2018. All patients received the omeprazole; they were divided into the observation group (high-quality nursing care) and the control group (regular nursing care) according to the nursing pattern, with 60 patients in each group. Thereafter, the rate of effective nursing, adverse reaction incidence, recurrence, and patient satisfaction with nursing were all measured. Results: After nursing care, the life quality of patients in the two groups was somehow ameliorated; however, the amelioration in the observation group was much better than that in the control group (P<0.05). In the observation group, patients were more satisfied with the high-quality care compared to those in the control group, with significantly lower adverse reaction incidence and recurrence rates (all P<0.05). Conclusion: In clinical treatment of the bleeding caused by the gastric ulcer, individual nursing care is required on the basis of omeprazole for its positive effect on the efficacy and safety of treatment.
