摘要
An important observation in supply chain management, known as the bullwhip effect, suggests that demand variability increases as one moves up a supply chain. Although there have been many researches on the bullwhip effect, this paper differs from previous research in several ways. A supply chain SD model is created while the bullwhip effect is analyzed via mathematical approaches. In this paper, we focus on the impact of forecasting technology on the bullwhip effect, and discuss the price fluctuation' influence to the strength of bullwhip effect and the impact of up-stream's safety stock on the downstream's service level as well.
