摘要
Electrospinning is a simple and versatile way to fabricate ultrafine fibers with diameter ranging from tens of nanometers to several micrometers, which has gained great attention nowadays. The nanofibrous membrane generated by this method exhibit certain desirable characteristics such as thin diameter, excellent porous structure and possibility for therapeutic drug loading eta, making it a good biomedical material. The aim of this paper is trying to review the recent development of wound dressings with an emphasis on electrospinning. And both advantages and existing problems of current electrospun nanofiber membrane as wound dressings are addressed here. In conclusion, electrospun nanofiber is a promising candidate for wound repair, but much still remains to be further researched.
