摘要
The problem of inaccuracy involved in the conventional simulations, at fixed time steps, of event-based systems is presented. As such, the use of a new Simulink toolbox called the RT-Events Blockset is proposed to significantly reduce the error between simulated and actual event-based systems. The key concept behind the RT-Events library of blocks is one of compensation for the events taking place in between the sampling instants. The potential applications of this new toolbox are clear, including the use of the RT-Events Blockset to effectively model and simulate IC engines.
