摘要
Sixteen Oriental and Australian species of Emphysomera Schiner are reported. A lectotype for E. spathulata Doleschall is designated. The male of E, conopsoides (Wiedemann) and female of E. jonesi Joseph & Parui are reported and described for the first time. Emphysomera aequalis Becker, nigra Schiner, and E. spathulata Doleschall are redescribed, and 6 new species are described (E. cassidea, E. clava, E. galba, E. tectura, E. rugata, and E ula). Six new synonyms of Emphysomera nigra Schiner (= aliena Osten-Sacken, = E. biseriata Becker, = Ommatius drividicus Joseph & Parui, = E. femorata Bigot, = E. hegani de Meijere, and = E. nigrifemorata Bigot) and one for E. conopsoides (= E. peregrina Wulp) are reported. Six species are transferred from Ommatius Wiedemann to Emphysomera [E. bengalensis (Joseph & Parui), E. biharensis (Joseph & Parui), E. gopalpurensis (Joseph & Parui), E. jonesi (Joseph & Parui), E, pseudodravidicus (Joseph & Parui), and E. truncatus (Joseph & Parui)]. Illustrations of the terminalia and a key to the Oriental and Australian species are included.
