System dynamics modelling using UML collaboration diagrams

摘要
System Dynamics researchers have already had several choices of simulation software. Most of these products of simulation software provide similar user interfaces so that researchers can easily select and use one of them based on their purpose and function of the product. However, data formats of software are neither common nor open. It causes the problems that researchers cannot use existing models efficiently not introduce another simulation technique into System Dynamics. This can be solved by using open or standardized description tools. In addition, if tools can produce executable program, these tools can be one of alternative on System Dynamics modeling tools. As one of such tool, there are UML diagrams. In this paper, the method how to use UML diagrams, especially Collaboration Diagrams, to build System Dynamics models is shown.
