摘要
A retrospective study of 471 cardioversions performed for atrial tachycardias in patients with congenital heart disease revealed that, although intra-atrial reentrant tachycardia was the most common indication, 31% of patients had atrial fibrillation, resulting in 22% of cardioversions. The frequency of atrial tachycardias increased over time, and atrial fibrillation was more likely to occur among patients with palliated or unrepaired congenital heart disease or with biventricular repair of congenital heart disease and residual left-sided obstructive and/or regurgitant lesions.
