摘要
Waves in the chamber of the floating type OWC wave energy extractor is calculated and measured. The floating type OWC wave energy extractor is designed so that dynamic behavior and geometric shape be well matched to the wave environment. It requires variational study of the system parameters that affect the overall design performance. To provide the design database, a two dimensional model is made and tested in the 2 dimensional model basin. The motion, the internal wave, and the volume change are measured and presented in this paper. The mean wave elevation in the box type chamber without air compression slowly decreases as the frequency increases. This result can be used in the primary design and parameter study for the floating wave energy extractor.
