摘要
This study mainly focuses on buckling characteristics of polymer composites reinforced with graphene platelets (GPLs) in a thermal environment resting on viscoelastic foundation. The micromechanical Halpin-Tsai model is employed to determine GPL-reinforced polymer composite plate properties. Four patterns are considered for the GPLs distribution in a structure matrix. The governing equations of the polymer composite plate reinforced with GPL are developed applying Hamilton's principle. Navier's method is used to analyze and solve the problem. The results of this study have been verified by comparing them with those of a previous study. The effects of various parameters, such as geometry effect, GPL weight fraction, temperature changes and viscoelastic foundation on the buckling characteristics are discussed in detail.
