摘要：

Patients are diagnosed with ACS routinely on every shift. The range or presentation includes the subtle symptoms in the well-appearing patients to the overtly critically ill in the patient with ischemia-induced shock. Cornerstones of management include aggressive supportive care, early optimization of myocardial mismatch, prevention of thrombus propagation, and improving early perfusion with PCI or fibrinolytic agents in select patients.
