I welcome you to the third issue of the IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials in 2018. This issue includes 35 papers covering different aspects of communication networks. In particular, these articles survey and tutor various issues in 'Wireless and Cellular Communications,' 'Optical Communications,' 'IoT and M2M,' '5G Networks and Network Virtualization,' 'Data Center and Information Centric Networks,' 'Network and Service Management,' and 'Network Security.'
