摘要
A simple non Debye frequency spectrum is proposed. The normalized frequency spectrum is compared to that of Debye spectrum. The proposed spectrum, provides a good account of low frequency phonon density of states, which gives a linear temperature variation at low temperature in contrast to Debye T-3 law. It has been analyzed that the proposed model provides a good account of excess specific heat for nanostructure solid.
