摘要
Based on a kind of new phase change material(PCM), the paper studies the economical performance of PCM cool storage for air-conditioning system was studied and was compared with ice-storage and conventional system. The results indicate that the operation cost of PCM energy storage system is the lowest while the initial investment is relatively high. PCM energy storage technique will be promising in air-conditioning applications if the storage medium cost decreases resulting from large scale production.
