摘要
Simulation is a widely used technique to experiment with the architecture of a complex system without affecting it. Furthermore, it enables observing responses to informational, organizational and environmental changes in order to make analysis over the architecture accordingly. In simulation, experimentation over an IT architecture implies defining a model of the architecture, which must include information about its behavior; the stimuli that might influence the model; and a structure that allows observing the experiments to present results about it. Considering this, we propose a module to observe simulation experiments and gather information about the responses of the architecture model to certain stimuli. This information is then processed and presented as performance indicators. This paper describes how observation is done by the proposed module, which is part of a simulation platform of our own, and how to build performance indicators based on this observation.
