THE RIGHT TO THE CITY, A LEGALLY DEMANDABLE RIGHT IN ARGENTINA?

In the present investigation, the origins of the right to the city are investigated and the meanings developed from its establishment to the present are reviewed, to then be able to carry out a legal analysis of its foundations and content in both international and national regulations (Argentina) to finally determine the nature of this right and establish whether it is legally enforceable in Argentina. The methodology used is documentary research, since descriptive, analytical and hermeneutic reflections are elaborated from the review of the documentary sources in relation to the specific object of the research. The results obtained allowed the existing problems regarding the enforceability of the right to the city to be made visible, so an alternative solution to their judicial claim was developed individually or collectively in countries, such as Argentina, where it is not found. recognized in binding regulatory instruments.
