摘要
This article describes a special library research skills curriculum integrated with studying emancipation celebrations, specifically Juneteenth, for sixth graders. The curriculum was an outgrowth of service activities done in an urban branch public library. Excerpts from the children's journals summarizing their experiences are highlighted.
