摘要
An axysimetrical constrained semi-analytic optimization process is our basic tool for designing magnets. Developments of 3-D numerical models are undertaken to complement this approach. Such models are needed to investigate the overall behavior of our magnets. They are likely to provide suitable insights to solve the design problems arising from the demand for high magnetic field with both great spatial homogeneity and temporal stability.
