摘要
Introduction: Obesity is a chronic disease with a multifactorial character, resulting from the imbalance between energy consumption and expenditure. Therefore, for its treatment, a multidisciplinary care is necessary, through programs and intervention strategies that consider the various causes that influence the onset of the disease. Objective: To analyze in the scientific literature the care strategies for the care of people with obesity in health services. Materials and Methods: Integrative review carried out in November 2021 based on consultation of the following databases: PubMed/Medline, LILACS/IBECS, Web of Science and SciELO. The analysis was performed with 7 articles. Results: Regarding the characterization of the population participating in the studies, this included primary care providers, clinical representatives of specialized services in obesity, members of the multidisciplinary team of health services, members of health advocacy organizations and patients with obesity. The care strategies cited in the studies were ( 1) Referral to a nutritionist, (2) Pharmacotherapy, (3) Bariatric surgery, (4) Support groups, (5) Education programs, (6) Skill development, and (7) Increased access to healthy foods. Conclusion: It can be concluded that in the treatment of obesity, frequent and intensive multidisciplinary interaction should be prioritized. However, it is also necessary to adapt care for those patients who do not respond sufficiently to lifestyle intervention in isolation.
