摘要
Using the hybrid methods of finite element and boundary element is one of the most useful ways for site effects analysis in earthquake engineering. Most current papers are based on a numerical procedure for solving the integral equations which although having the advantage of avoiding domain discretization, has many problems. It requires large amount of data to be stored and manipulated which worsens with increasing in number of time subdivisions of transient analysis. In this paper we have presented a new numerical method which can be added to the numerical algorithm of hybrid method for automatically limiting the backtracking procedure upon the influence factor of each time step which is a function of the model geometry and user defined tolerance.
